Steve Dub is a Los Angeles based DJ and world renowned turntablist. Currently an on-air mixer for the worlds first all hip-hop radio station, 93.5 KDAY, he has a weekly audience in one of the largest U.S. markets. His mixes have been featured on popular DJ podcast by Club Killers and DJ City. With his Club Killers mix currently at 23,000 streams.
In addition to radio, you can catch Steve 4-5 times a week inside one of his many L.A. and O.C. residencies as well as around the country. He's played and continues to get booked at clubs in Seattle, New York, Miami, San Francisco and Las Vegas just to name a few.
Although hip-hop, funk & soul are his genre's of choice, he is a true open format DJ with the ability to play and mix any and every genre that will get the crowd moving. From hip-hop/top40 to electronic, reggae, soul and everything in between, he can play for the most fickle crowds. It's these abilities that have caught the attention of celebrity's like Justin Timberlake and Gwen Stefani, who are just a couple of the high profile clients that he has worked with during his 18+ years in the industry. On top of radio and club events, Steve has also DJ'd hundreds of wedding's. His knowledge of all genre's of music on top of good ol' fashioned DJ skills have made him in demand for many clients including a few NFL players. He has even been flown out of state to DJ a wedding in New York and another in Florida.
